A Thursday pie run.

My Friday Rangiora pie run happened a day early  this week.
This came about because 'Flyernzl' was visiting today from up North.
At Rangiora the Chilton D.W.1 ZK-CHT2 (reserved) is making slow progress - now with the engine cowling having a trial fitting around its VW1830 engine.
Also showing signs of progress is the Cessna U206F Stationair ZK-DXC (c/n U20602986) which has its floats temporarily fitted to sort out the attachments before having the fuselage painted.
At the Drake Aviation Ltd's Fernside facility we captured the Aerospool Dynamic WT9 ZK-DYA2 (c/n DY546/2015).
Starting to push up daisies at Christchurch International are the two Aero L-29's with ZK-VAU (c/n 094019) on the hard nearest, and ZK-SSU (c/n 395100) on the grass behind.
Somebody has taken my 'spot'.
Flyernzl out shooting me.
All these aircraft have been mention on these pages previously.
And the potato topped pie from Continental was yum.

  1. I see DXC has a copilot door fitted. Must help with docking on floats.
